I originally bought this bench hamper for my mudroom - and it worked great for storing my kid's shoes, toys, backbacks, or any other random items which inevitably ended up on the floor by our front entryway. It also created a great spot for all of us to sit down and put on our shoes before we headed out the door in the morning. However, when we redesigned our bathroom in sort of a "beachy" theme, i decided i would switch things up a bit and move the bench hamper to the bathroom. Now, i use it as a laundry hamper for dirty towels, and it fits great with my new decor. Love this piece - totally worth the money i spent on it! Very high potential wood and easy to put together, too.
